Greenstone Studios is committed to respecting and protecting your personal data in full compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Apple App Store Review Guidelines.
Our applications — including PlateMatch - Smart Meals and CartRun - Smart Grocery — are engineered from the ground up according to the Privacy by Design philosophy. Your data is stored and processed locally on your own personal device whenever possible.
📱 2. What Data Is Processed?
A. PlateMatch
In PlateMatch, you may configure household profiles (such as first names, dietary preferences, peanut/nut/gluten/lactose allergies, and calorie/macro goals). These configurations remain exclusively within your iPhone's local sandbox storage.
B. CartRun
In CartRun, you create grocery items, custom categories, and recipe connections. All items are maintained on your local device.
C. No Mandatory Accounts
Using our applications requires no account creation, email registration, or phone number. We do not harvest personal contact details.
🚫 3. Zero Third-Party Advertising & No Data Selling
Greenstone Studios never sells, licenses, or rents your personal information to data brokers, advertising networks, or third parties.
Our apps contain no behavioral ad trackers (no Google AdMob, no Meta Pixel) and do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
🔄 4. Local Household Sync & Inter-App Communication
When you link CartRun and PlateMatch (e.g. exporting missing recipe ingredients into your grocery list), communication takes place via secure Apple on-device mechanisms (URL Schemes and Local App Sandboxing). Your meal data is never uploaded to external advertising servers.
⚖️ 5. Your Rights (Access, Correction & Deletion)
Under GDPR, you retain complete rights to access, rectify, and delete your data. Because all application state is kept locally on your iPhone, you are in total control:
- You can edit or erase profiles, allergy tags, and grocery items directly inside the app at any time.
- Uninstalling the app from your device immediately and permanently deletes all associated local data.

🛡️ 1. Inleiding & Kernprincipe (Privacy-First)
Greenstone Studios respecteert uw privacy en zet zich in voor de bescherming van uw persoonsgegevens in overeenstemming met de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG / GDPR) en de richtlijnen van Apple.
Onze applicaties — waaronder PlateMatch - Smart Meals en CartRun - Smart Grocery — zijn ontworpen volgens het principe van Privacy by Design. Dit betekent dat uw gegevens zoveel mogelijk lokaal op uw eigen apparaat worden bewaard en verwerkt.
📱 2. Welke gegevens worden verwerkt?
A. PlateMatch
In PlateMatch configureert u desgewenst profielen voor gezinsleden (bijvoorbeeld voornaam, allergieën zoals pinda/gluten/lactose, en portieprofielen). Deze instellingen blijven uitsluitend lokaal opgeslagen in de beveiligde opslag van uw iPhone.
B. CartRun
In CartRun maakt u boodschappenlijstjes, categorieën en receptkoppelingen aan. Deze lijsten worden lokaal op uw toestel opgeslagen.
C. Geen Accountverplichting
Voor het gebruik van onze applicaties is geen registratie of accountaanmaak vereist. Wij verzamelen geen e-mailadressen, telefoonnummers of creditcardgegevens.
🚫 3. Geen Verkoop of Tracking door Derden
Greenstone Studios verkoopt, verhuurt of verhandelt uw persoonsgegevens nooit aan derden, data-brokers of reclamebedrijven.
Onze apps bevatten geen advertentienetwerken (geen AdMob, geen Meta Pixel) en geen tracking cookies die uw gedrag over andere apps of websites monitoren.
🔄 4. Lokale Gezinssynchronisatie & App-Koppeling
Wanneer u ervoor kiest om CartRun en PlateMatch met elkaar te verbinden (bijvoorbeeld om ingrediënten vanuit PlateMatch direct naar uw CartRun boodschappenlijst te sturen), verloopt deze communicatie via het veilige lokale platform (Local App Sandbox / iOS URL Schemes). Uw maaltijdplannen en boodschappenlijsten worden niet naar externe cloudservers gestuurd.
⚖️ 5. Uw Rechten (Inzage, Verwijdering & Overdraagbaarheid)
Op grond van de AVG heeft u het recht op inzage, correctie en verwijdering van uw gegevens. Omdat alle gegevens lokaal op uw apparaat worden opgeslagen, heeft u te allen tijde 100% controle:
- U kunt profielen, allergievoorkeuren en boodschappenlijstjes direct binnen de app bewerken of wissen.
- Wanneer u de app verwijdert van uw iPhone, worden alle bijbehorende lokale gegevens onmiddellijk en permanent gewist.
